Multiservice Extension

This solution provides voice, data and LAN services, which are groomed over a single E1/T1 link at the customer premises, using RAD's FCD-E1 E1 access units or Megaplex-2100 access multiplexer, each with built-in fiber optic modems. At the central office, an E1/T1 fiber modem in the LRS-24 12-slot modem rack with SNMP converts the fiber optic signal and hands off the traffic to the ADM. Data traffic can also be transported at speeds of up to E3/T3 using standalone fiber optic modems.
