Modem Rack in Central Office

Multiple services from multiple customers within the building are consolidated using RAD's Optimux-34 E3 fiber mux, DXC-30 digital cross connect or ACE-202 dedicated multiservice access concentrator. The choice of device depends on the volume of traffic and the mix of customers and services within the particular building. These devices are linked to fiber optic modems mounted in the LRS-24 12-slot modem rack with SNMP at the central office/POP.
