The Optimux-108L features the following optical interface options:

1310 nm or 1550 nm short or long haul laser diode for extended range over single-mode fiber

Single mode over single fiber (WDM) option
The tributary channels can be balanced or unbalanced E1s, providing transparent delivery
of user data and clock signals with an option to set each channel to a different clock source.
The Optimux-108L features test and diagnostics capabilities that include local and remote
loopbacks on each E1 tributary link as well as on the fiber optic uplink, sent by the corresponding Optimux-108 card in an LRS-102 chassis. In addition, a local or remote loopback can be generated using the DIP switch of the local or remote Optimux‑108L unit.
The device features the following management alternatives:

Remote inband management via a dedicated Ethernet port

Access and management options include Telnet, SNMP and Web server
The compact Optimux-108L standalone unit is available in a plastic or metal enclosure.
